Oscar and Dot: I took a few portraits of my grandparents and my mom last time I was in Staten Island. My grandparents are some of my favorite subjects. I love how tender they still are with each other, after 65 years of marriage. My grandpa is tough to catch smiling in photos, but every now and then I capture this incredible juxtaposition of wonder and wisdom in his eyes.
